The same 18 questions...

As i have run out of topics to blog about... i came across this post by Kartik and i found it a nice opportunity to do some good thinking after a long time despite the fact that i just finished my internal exam (which, for the record, sucked). So here goes....

1) Pick out a scar you have, and explain how you got it?

This is a bit of a tough one..not because i don't have one..in fact it is because i have plenty. My very first post for this blog was about how accident prone i was (still am in fact). As a result i have a lot of scars. The first one that comes to view as a check my body (not a pretty sight that) is the one on my left bicep.

This i think happened in 2003..during my final exams. I was having a bath and thought of using the wash basin as a support while i extricate a nail from my toe....and WOOOOSHHH...the wash basin did not agree with my heft and came down like a burning house and taking my down with it. The next thing i know is that i am in the hospital getting stitches on my lower back (8 of them) and my left bicep having this deep cut...which my friends is now the scar...

2) What does your phone look like?

Same as kartik's ..in fact he helped me get it (thanks again man)...although from what he has described about his phone..i can safely say that mine is in better condition. It's good cell..very classy..but quite flimsy too..so not for those who treat their phone like dirt....

3) What is on the walls of your bedroom?

I have picture-poster-board (ok ...frankly i dunno what the hell it is called)....of a red Lamborghini. It was given to me as a gift by my folks. I suppose it has a hidden meaning...."stop sitting on ur ass..and get to work..if u wanna drive one of these babies"...i on the other hand prefer not to read too much into such hidden meanings..and let it pass....

4) What is your current desktop picture?

As much as i like to put up Pam Anderson's pic on my desktop...unfortunately this comp is used by my dad and sister...so it's either staying at home and be a good boy or be naughty and get tossed out onto the road....

5) Do you believe in gay marriage?

Frankly i believe this question is flawed. It should be "Do u agree with gay marriages?"...in which case...yea sure..why not....There is no sense in keeping two people (any two people) from exhibiting their love...Doing so can lead to dire consequences...murders...suicides..Tatu music videos and all such unpleasantness this world could do without...

6) What do you want more than anything right now?

Money..the rest shall come from that...hehe

7) What time were you born?

Sometime in the evening on the 27th of September( yeah that's tomorrow...happy birthday to me!!). According to mom..i took a great liking for her abdomen...i came out almost a fortnight later than expected...Probably that explains why i am a bit slow..

8) Are your parents still together?

Yep...they might be at their throats all day...but that delicate string of love, loyalty and lawyer bills to fight a divorce...keep them together...

9) Last person who made you cry?

My school principal...he said that i am not allowed to come to school (i.e i am suspended) for a week for not turning up in proper attire...i cried like a baby that day...fortunately the suspension was lifted that day itself..as he actually forgot about what happened....great man he is..

10) What is your favorite perfume / cologne?

Sorry i don't i use cologne...i prefer the natural odour...dunno what my friends have to say though..but then again this is my blog..so screw them...

11) What kind of hair/eye color do you like in the opposite sex?

From question no.4..i think it is quite obvious that i have a soft corner for blondes...Dunno why though...just one of those things..which really i have no answer for.Blondes are hot...there that's my answer..

12) What are you listening to?

The song for the moment for me is the theme song from "Requiem for a dream"
..Haven't seen the whole movie..but liked whatever whatever i saw in it. I have this thing for theme songs....some of my other favourite theme songs are..

13) Do you get scared of the dark?

Not really...just keep knocking myself....and that hurts..but otherwise it's cool.

14) Do you like painkillers?

Funny question i must say....i like the fact that it relieves u of the pain...In fact when i was holidaying at my cousin's in B'lore...i got this really bad tooth ache...apparently my mouth wasn't big enough to accommodate my wisdom tooth..so this Doc gives me a painkiller..and waalla..the pain goes almost immediately...well subsided enough for me to wolf down a few more burgers and pizzas during my stay...sigh...good food that.

15) Are you too shy to ask someone out?

U mean a girl? Well lemme give the low down on how it works in pathetic 'ol TVM. Guy sees girl....guy likes girl...guy asks girl out...girl shoots him down..end of story. Even if the guy is Hrithik with an MBA from IIM-A..it won't do. The women folk are programmed to say no to any form of advances made by the male folk...sad story this..but true..As a result i have never thought of making the effort...Just hope that the coming years at work will get me some luck..

16) If you could eat anything right now, what would it be?

Sofie's choice really...it is too difficult..too difficult i tell u...the mind says pizza..the heart says lasanga..the left arm says bhel puri...the right arm says...arrggghhhhh...system overload...shutting down in 10..9...8..7...6.. (too lazy to write the rest..hope u get the picture)

17) Who was the last person who made you mad?

My barber....i asked him to give me the Aamir Khan hairdo in Fanaa..and he leaves me with a trimmed version of what i had..and gave 10 bucks to me..asking me not to come back here again....the nerve..

18) Who was the last person who made you smile?

My dog..impy...she never fails to do that...

So that's it..18 tough questions...18 pathetic answers...atleast it buys me time for my next post...ciao
