The speech-I

I am a capitalist. A staunch capitalist if u will. My life and thinking revloves around the following principles:
  • Money buys money
  • The market is always right
  • The bottom-line is the end,the rest is all the means to it.....and so on.
I have always tried but failed to understand what communists intend to achieve with their policies. It beats me. Probably the reason lies in the fact that the people who claim to be communists keep contradicting themselves so often that u and they are equally confused.

Many of my batchmates in college are hard-core communists....or atleast that is what they claim they are..but when it comes to the time of placements...they insist on getting a shot at a job in an MNC. Now don't get me wrong..it is their right to decide where they want to ply their trade...but if they r auch ardent supporters of Marx, Lenin and the others ...then why would u want to work for a firm that would make these men twist in the grave with anguish?

The Left wing politicians are also a bunch of losts souls....caught in a tug-of-war in the mind about where to go....Marx's ideology of equality or the comforts that would be available to those who have earnt it on merit in this age of globalization. They preach socialism....but friends...the most socilist nation in the world is the United States of America. Where else do u have food-packets provided to the homeless and broke?...Where else will u have a comprehensive social security scheme? If this isn't taking care of society then what is?

Ours is a great country...the very best...but sadly it is led by the wrong people...with the wrong mindsets. We have a young population....a population who are willing take on the world and win...but there are these people...the communists... who believe that by tyng everyone in the so-called web of equality, progress can be attained.

This is our hour...this is the moment..this is the truth...we can either stride forward or stumble back...the choice my friends...is urs...Thank You.
